Born into a family of musicians, Genc Tukiçi is a Franco-Albanian pianist and composer. He has made numerous recordings and has created numerous pieces for piano, many of which use motifs from themes by Puccini, Verdi and Offenbach amongst others.

In 2009 he was awarded the prestigious Prix Nino Rota in Italy. In “Sax, mule & Co – Marcel Mule ou l’éloquence du son” (collection Grands Interprètes, H&D, Paris, 2004), Jean-Pierre Thiollet said of him that “Genc Tukiçi is a remarkable pianist of an international level, who carries out the activity of concert pianist in a very delicate manner, he is also an accompanist of great singers and a teacher at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris.”
