Trained at the Juilliard School, the baritone Daniel Ihn-Kyu Lee won numerous international competitions. He made his debut in Europe at the Prinzregententheater in Munich in 2007.
His operatic repertoire is vast: Il Carpentiere in Il Piccolo Marrat, Neri in La Cena delle Beffe, Cascart in ZaZa, Gleby in Siberia, Seid in Il Corsaro, Abayaldos in Dom Sebastian, Zurga in The Pearl Fishers, Silvio in Pagliacci, the title role of Gianni Schicchi, Count Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro or Figaro in Il Barbiere di Siviglia.
He also triumphed with Oreste in Gluck’s Iphigénie en Tauride at the Novaya Opera in Moscow in March 2015.
Among his future projects, title role in Der fliegende Holländer in Bari and Carlo Gérard in Andrea Chénier in Catania.
